1. Information We Collect

Authors may provide additional public-profile information.

Orders and Purchases

We may process information about titles purchased, transaction amounts, order history, payment references and related billing information.

Full payment-card information is handled by our payment provider where applicable and is not stored by SayeBook.

Author Applications and Publishing Information

Authors may provide identity, professional, publishing and rights-related information, manuscripts, cover files, audio files, samples, metadata and other materials necessary to review, publish and administer their titles.

Community Information

We may process reviews, ratings, follows, comments, reactions, profile information, reports and other interactions that you choose to make through community features.

Some information you intentionally publish through public profiles, reviews or community features may be visible to other users or the public.

Search, Discovery and Usage Information

We may process information about pages viewed, searches, catalogue interactions, recommendation interactions and other activity used to operate, secure and improve SayeBook.

Where optional analytics requires consent, such analytics will be handled according to your applicable consent choices.

Technical Information

When you use SayeBook, certain technical information may be processed automatically, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, security logs and information necessary to operate the service.

Country and Preference Information

SayeBook may use approximate IP-based country information or browser/device preferences to suggest appropriate settings, such as country or display preferences.

Such suggestions should not override information you deliberately provide.

SayeBook does not require precise GPS location for these ordinary preference-detection functions.

Author Financial Information

For authors, SayeBook may maintain information needed for sales records, royalty calculations, payout administration, accounting and related obligations.

SayeBook does not sell personal information in exchange for money.

SayeBook does not currently use third-party cross-site behavioral advertising cookies.

Information you intentionally make public—including certain author-profile information, reviews, comments or other public community activity—may be viewed by other users and potentially by people outside SayeBook.

Do not publish information publicly that you do not want others to see.

Order, transaction, royalty, tax and accounting records may be retained for periods required by law or legitimate business obligations.

Other information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to legal, security, dispute-resolution and recordkeeping requirements.

Information may be deleted or de-identified when it is no longer reasonably required.

8. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

SayeBook may offer books intended for children and teenagers, but the availability of such content does not permit individuals under 18 to create accounts.
