SayeBook uses browser technologies necessary to provide important platform functionality.

Depending on the feature and technical implementation, essential storage may support:

• checkout and transaction continuity;
• shopping-cart functionality;
• wishlist functionality;
• recently viewed titles;
• language preferences;
• display-currency preferences;
• country or regional preference suggestions;

The exact technical mechanism may include cookies, local storage, session storage or other browser-supported storage.

2. Local Preferences

Certain preferences may be stored directly on your device so SayeBook can remember choices between visits.

Deleting browser storage may reset some or all of these preferences.

Guest cart or other device-only information may also be lost when the corresponding browser storage is cleared.

3. Optional Analytics

Where SayeBook uses optional analytics requiring consent, those analytics are used to understand how visitors use the platform and to improve navigation, catalogue discovery, performance and usability.

SayeBook does not use optional analytics to create third-party advertising profiles.

Where consent is required, optional analytics will not be activated until the applicable consent has been provided.

You may decline optional analytics without losing access to essential account, security, library, cart or checkout functionality.

4. Analytics Choices

Where optional analytics is active, SayeBook will provide an appropriate method for accepting or declining analytics and for changing that preference where required.

The user's analytics preference may itself be stored on the device so SayeBook can remember the selection.

5. No Third-Party Behavioral Advertising Cookies

SayeBook does not currently use third-party cross-site behavioral advertising cookies.

If SayeBook introduces advertising technologies in the future, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before or when those technologies are introduced.

6. Approximate Country Detection

SayeBook may use an IP-based service to suggest a country or regional preference.

Such providers inherently receive technical information necessary to respond to the request, including the requesting IP address.

SayeBook does not use precise GPS location for this ordinary preference suggestion.

7. Managing Browser Storage

You can manage or clear cookies and other browser storage through your browser settings.

Depending on what you clear, this may:

• sign you out;
• reset language, currency or other preferences;
• remove guest cart information;
• clear recently viewed information; or
• require you to make certain choices again.

Information already stored in your authenticated SayeBook account may remain available after local browser storage is cleared.

8. Changes

We may update this policy when SayeBook changes the technologies it uses.

Material changes will be reflected in the effective date and, where appropriate, communicated through the platform.
