How to report content that infringes your copyright, and how SayeBook handles those reports.
If you believe your rights have been infringed
If a title listed on SayeBook uses your work without permission, you can report it using our copyright report form.
A useful report identifies the title on SayeBook, describes the work you hold rights to, explains why you believe it was used without permission, and includes a way to contact you.
What happens next
We review each report before taking action. A listing is not removed on the basis of an unverified anonymous accusation alone — we look at the evidence provided and may ask the seller or author to respond.
Where a report is well-founded, we suspend or remove the listing and inform the author.
If you are the author and disagree with a report
You can respond with evidence of your own rights (for example a licence, contract or proof of original authorship). We consider both sides before making a final decision.
Report a claim
Copyright reports are submitted through our copyright report form.
